Dia-Compe AD-996 U-Brake Caliper - Silver

Bought to replace the more period-correct AD-990 on my Haro Vintage 87 Sport Team Build, this brake is much, much easier to setup. It uses threaded-post brake pads, instead of clamp-post style pads, making it much easier to align and fit pad contact to different rims. It's also more positive and powerful in feel and performance. Still looks the vintage part, though, but is a simply a much improved design.
