What's the difference? A gumwall tyre has a thick coating of butyl over the sidewall which adds 200-250gms of weight to the tyre. A true skinwall tyre like these which we had custom made for us by Kenda has a minimal amount of translucent butyl over the casing making for a lightweight tire. 

Note: All of our tyres are shipped flat packed, we never fold or figure 8 any of our tyres.
